Assistant or Associate Professor

Required Qualifications The Division of Pediatric Hematology‑Oncology, within the Department of Pediatrics of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), is seeking an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Pediatrics specializing in the treatment of pediatric brain tumors. Completion of a pediatric neuro‑oncology fellowship (or practicing as a neuro‑oncologist for at least 3 years) is required. The position will assume clinical care of children, adolescents, and young adults with brain tumors as a member of the pediatric brain tumor program at OHSU. They will also participate in administrative and leadership responsibilities as assigned by the Division Head; participate in fellow training and student/resident educational programs of the Department; serve on committees and councils of OHSU; participate in outreach and public service programs and professional societies with the knowledge and consent of the Chair; conduct collaborative clinical, translational, and/or health systems research at OHSU, and fund these efforts as necessary through grants and contracts. Preferred Qualifications An M.D. degree or the foreign equivalent. Oregon medical licensure or eligibility for licensure. Board Certification or eligibility for Board Certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology‑Oncology. Completion of a pediatric neuro‑oncology fellowship (or practicing as a neuro‑oncologist for at least 3 years) is required. All are welcome.
