Physician Assistant Cardiac ICU

Job Overview We are hiring an experienced Cardiac Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our top‑notch team at a Boston suburb facility. Responsibilities This position is responsible for participating in all aspects of pre‑ and postoperative care of the cardiac surgical patient. The primary responsibilities of the NP/PA are related to care outside the operating room. The NP/PA works under the direction of the surgeon and duties include removal of chest tubes, sutures, and temporary pacing wires as directed by surgeons and the chief resident. Schedule Candidate will work three shifts weekly, each 13 hours long, on a rotating schedule. No fixed days, nights, weekends or holidays; flexibility is required.
