ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I officially opened our agency on June 1, 2024, but my roots with State Farm run much deeper as I spent over 18 years working in another agent’s office before launching my own. Today, I lead a small but passionate team of three full-time professionals who are dedicated to helping our clients protect what matters most.

We offer flexible PTO, life insurance, and a supplemental health policy (for those who qualify), along with opportunities for advancement within the agency and performance-based bonuses. As a second-generation State Farm agent who’s lived in Kent County my whole life, I’m deeply connected to this community. I’m an avid animal lover and actively support organizations like the SPCA, Grass Roots Rescue, and Piper’s Paws Rescue. Our agency also sponsors several local travel ball teams and partners with volunteer fire departments, reflecting our commitment to giving back.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Lindsay Dougherty - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
