Technical Support Specialist

Seeking a talented Technical Support Specialist to help customers troubleshoot issues and assist Field Service Engineers with mechanical, software, and hardware issues. Answer user questions and serve as the primary contact for maintenance and repair problems. Industrial equipment manufacturer specializing in thermal processing technology with an outstanding workplace culture.


This is a high-impact position for someone who can take ownership of support requests seeing them through to resolution.

• Manages incoming calls, and ensures timely follow up response through conclusion of issues.
• Ownership of support requests.
• Utilize troubleshooting guides, and other information to assist with resolving issues.
• Complete detailed reports listing technical assistance requests creating documentation to assist internal staff and customers.
• Assist sales department with technical questions and requests.
• Generate sales leads and revenue through upgrades.
• Communicate with Regional Service Managers, and Sales Engineers to inform them of possible service needs in their region.
• Assists with training internal employees and external customers.

• High School Diploma or equivalent certifications and/or apprenticeship training. Associates or bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 4-5 years related technical experience required.
• Ability to understand and troubleshoot vacuum furnace issues relating to mechanical and electrical issues.
• Forward thinking and customer-first attitude.
• Experience working with CRM systems.
• MS Office suite experience.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Ability to function as a team member and contribute to team goals.

• Hourly pay range $36.00-$43.00. Bonus eligible.
