Employee Type Regular Work Shift Day - 8 hour shift (United States of America) Job Overview Tidelands Health, an affiliate of MUSC Health, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Physician to join an established, employed practice serving the Myrtle Beach region. Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric services (flexible) with optional academic involvement. Serve as part of a growing program of full‑time BE/BC general pediatricians. Cover inpatient and nursery call, taking unassigned overnight assignments. Assist with level II NICU care and telemedicine with Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Charleston. Participate in a health‑system-employed practice covering two hospitals 22 miles apart – 125 total beds each. Conduct circumcisions and provide newborn resuscitation (NRP) and pediatric advanced life support (PALS) care for level I & II nursery. Qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics. Certification in circumcisions, NRP and PALS for level I & II nursery. Experience with Epic EMR or willingness to learn. Support Health system-employed covering two hospitals 22 miles apart – 125 total beds each. Average annual births – approximately 1,000. Low volume inpatient pediatrics. Adjunct faculty responsibilities available in Family Medicine and Transitional Year residency programs in Myrtle Beach. Benefits Competitive salary plus incentives.
