Position Title Tier 2 Registered Dental Assistant – Marbella Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics Pay $20–$25/hr Schedule Full‑time (Availability Monday through Saturday) What You’ll Do Day to Day Welcome and prep patients to make them comfortable from the moment they sit down Assist dentists chairside during advanced procedures including crowns, bleaching, nightguards, and suture removals Set up and break down treatment rooms, mix and place materials, and pass instruments Oversee sterilization and infection control protocols and make sure standards are upheld Take, label, and ensure accuracy of dental radiographs and pour, trim, and polish study casts Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post‑op care Chart accurately, keep periodontal records up to date, and coordinate the recall system with the hygienist Manage lab cases end to end including scripts, boxing, prepping, and quality checks Ensure all treatment plans and consent forms are signed and on file Maintain supply inventory, equipment upkeep, daily checklists, CPR certification, and emergency supplies Mentor and train newer assistants through shadowing and hands‑on guidance Position Requirements Texas RDA certification (required) 3 to 5 years of experience in a dental‑assisting role Advanced chairside proficiency across a wide range of procedures and diagnostics Experience taking dental x‑rays accurately and efficiently Thorough knowledge of sterilization and infection control standards Ability to oversee clinical processes and hold a high bar for quality Great communication skills and a genuine patient‑first attitude Someone who leads by example and makes the team around them better Experience with orthodontics, Invisalign, or dental implant procedures is a big plus Why Marbella?
