Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in an Extended School Year (ESY) program near White Plains, NY! This part-time physical therapy assignment allows you to have a meaningful impact by providing services to K-12 students in a school setting this summer. With just 3.5 hours per week between July 6th and August 14th, you’ll have the chance to work with a manageable caseload while maintaining flexibility in your schedule.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in New York State
• Experience providing physical therapy services in school settings preferred
• Familiarity with K-12 student populations and IEP implementation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all students

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students based on IEP requirements
• Evaluate student needs, establish appropriate therapy goals, and document progress
• Collaborate with educators and related service providers to support student achievement
• Provide strategies and resources for classroom staff and families
• Participate in meetings and contribute to IEP development as needed
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school and state guidelines
