Network Systems Administrator

Position Summary The Network Systems Administrator manages and supports the organization's network, server, cloud, security, and communication systems. This role ensures technology infrastructure remains secure, reliable, and available. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot networks, servers, firewalls, wireless systems, and related equipment. Administer Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, Teams Phone, user accounts, permissions, and authentication systems. Support cloud services, hosted applications, virtual machines, Windows and Linux/Unix servers, email, and shared network resources. Maintain system security, performance, backups, recovery solutions, and technical documentation. Coordinate upgrades, patches, maintenance, and technology deployments. Work with users, vendors, consultants, and technical teams to resolve issues and recommend improvements. Provide technical support and complete additional technology projects as assigned. Core Competencies Strong customer service, communication, teamwork, technical knowledge, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience. At least three years of experience in network or systems administration. Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, networking fundamentals, servers, cloud systems, virtualization, security, and scripting tools. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, organization, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Relevant technical certifications and experience with Cisco or Meraki systems, VoIP, enterprise security, and mixed-device environments. Physical Requirements and Work Environment This role is primarily performed in an indoor office or technology environment and may require lifting equipment up to 30 pounds.
