Heavy-Duty Diesel TechnicianLocation: Rosemont, MN 55068A Day in This RoleYou clock in at our Rosemont shop and get right to what you do best: keeping diesel-powered vehicles and equipment running at their peak. First up, you review work orders and service histories, then roll a truck into the bay. You listen, observe, and diagnose—confirming issues through careful inspections and tests. By mid-morning, you’re swapping out a faulty injector and checking the turbocharger for efficiency. After lunch, it’s all about preventive maintenance—fluids, filters, and a thorough systems check—followed by documenting every action you’ve taken. Before you finish, you touch base with teammates to troubleshoot a complex exhaust issue, leaving the workspace clean, safe, and ready for tomorrow.What You’ll TacklePerform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on diesel engines and related systems.Repair or replace key components such as fuel injectors, turbochargers, and exhaust assemblies.Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to optimize reliability and performance.Accurately record all maintenance and repair activities.Collaborate with fellow technicians to resolve challenging mechanical concerns.Keep current with advances in diesel technology and industry best practices.Uphold safety standards and maintain a tidy, organized work area.Qualifications You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent; formal diesel technical training preferred.Proven hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic/technician.In-depth understanding of diesel engine systems and components.Ability to interpret service manuals and read schematics accurately.Strong diagnostic instincts, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Clear communicator and dependable team player.If tackling tough mechanical challenges and keeping equipment mission-ready sounds like your kind of day, we’d like to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
