Description
American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with at least 1 year of experience to support a hospital Main OR team across multiple surgical specialties.
Details
Main OR assignment supporting a variety of surgical specialties excluding Cardiovascular (CVOR)
Primary focus on Spine procedures with flexibility to support General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Robotics, Gynecology, Urology, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry
Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
Rotating call and holiday call required
13-week assignment
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
License required if applicable
Proficiency in maintaining sterile technique and anticipating surgeon needs across multiple surgical specialties
Ability to prepare and organize instrumentation and collaborate effectively with the perioperative team
Additional Information
Provide scrub support across a broad range of surgical specialties to meet departmental staffing needs
Collaborate with perioperative team members to ensure safe and efficient patient care
Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
