Now Hiring: Desktop Support Technician
Location: Costa Mesa, CA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $24.29/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable Desktop Support Technician to troubleshoot and repair laptops, desktop computers, and related equipment at various locations throughout the Costa Mesa metro area. The ideal candidate has hands-on computer repair experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and reliable personal transportation.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair laptops and desktop computers.
- Replace hardware components, including hard drives, motherboards, and keyboards.
- Perform computer swaps and repair or replace peripherals.
- Travel to service locations throughout the local metro area.
- Update and close service tickets in real time using a company-provided phone.
- Resolve basic technical issues and provide dependable onsite support.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of hands-on laptop and desktop repair experience .
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle and valid car insurance .
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and basic Microsoft applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical problems.
- Computer-building experience preferred.
- Must be able to pass any required criminal background checks or client/government clearances.
