Job Description

The Front Desk Supervisor will oversee the daily management of our hotel reception area. The individual must have strong communication skills, a friendly attitude and a high level of personal organization to ensure the smooth performance of front desk duties.

Responsibilities

Trains, motivates, evaluates, supervises and assists staff to ensure that team members receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established job requirements.
Supervises and directs guest check in and check out process and the provisions of transportation services to ensure that procedures are followed and that guests are helped quickly and in a courteous and safe manner according to Caesars Virginia standards.
Counsels, guides and instructs the Front Desk Agents in the daily performance of their duties and provides exceptional leadership.
Ensures the needs of guests are being met and are consistent with the standards established by management. Attends to guests' complaints and requests as necessary and remains focused on quality guest services.
Oversee the operations of the hotel as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Front Office Manager and/or Front Office Manager.
Handling complex guest service situations such as room moves and unassigned reservations. Acts as communication center between guests and various internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Coordinates with Reservations, Bell/valet and Housekeeping to ensure guest satisfaction.
Monitors equipment operations to ensure proper function; requests maintenance or revision as necessary.
Monitors stock par levels to ensure adequate supply levels are maintained; prepares supply orders as necessary
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Good experience with office machines (such as fax machines and printers)
Good practical knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, and proficiency in English (oral and written)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills
Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
Wage: $20.00 per hour
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise.
Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant
Must be able to stoop, reach and bend as necessary.
Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest demands in a fast-paced environment.
