Shift Type:  Rotating 10-13 hour AM & PM shifts, Monday - Saturday (variable start/end times depending on assignment)

Candidate Pay Rate:  $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of in-center chronic dialysis and ensure safe, high-quality care
• Provide patient education on dialysis treatments, medications, and self-care
• Supervise and mentor Dialysis Technicians to maintain strong clinical practice
• Adjust treatment plans per standing orders and collaborate on care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses and outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
• Collaborate closely with nephrologists, dietitians, and social workers for coordinated care
• Document care and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team

Requirements

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Washington State Board of Nursing or Multi-State Compact RN license
• Current CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience required
• Previous dialysis experience required
• Prior acute or ambulatory nursing experience preferred
• Ability to supervise dialysis technicians and work across multiple peninsula clinic locations
• Willingness to work AM and PM shifts, including Saturdays

Knowledge & Skills

• Dialysis care and in-center chronic dialysis workflows
• Patient assessment, monitoring, and medication administration
• Care plan development and adjustment based on patient response
• Patient education and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams
• Basic life support and emergency response for dialysis patients
• Quality improvement practices and documentation best practices
