Physical Therapist (PT)

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in a dynamic clinical setting focused on providing high-quality patient care. This role involves working primarily with a geriatric patient population and addresses various medically complex diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and interventions for patients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patient outcomes.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to optimize patient care and recovery.
Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Position Details

Department: Rehabilitation Services
Shift: Day Shift (08:00 - 16:00)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 30
Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year in an acute care setting
Patient Ratios: N/A
Common Diagnoses: Medically complex patients, including those on ventilators

Qualifications

Degree: Associate degree in Physical Therapy
Licensure: Current Physical Therapist license
Certification: BLS CPR certification required
Experience: Previous experience working with ventilator patients preferred

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team in a facility that emphasizes patient-centered care. The position requires working with a primarily geriatric population and offers opportunities for professional growth and development.
