Qualifications

• State License License must be in hand at time of application.
• Certifications ARRT (R)
• Certifications BLS (AHA)
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Vascular Interventional Radiology in last 3 years.
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in job's specialty.
• Travel Experience 6 weeks of travel experience.
• EMR Epic
• Skills Assessment VIR skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• References 2 Supervisor references within the last 2 years.
• Additional Confirmations I have not worked as a permanent employee of the health system or any affiliate in the past year.
• Additional Confirmations Scrub experience and ability to maintain a sterile field is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with angiography procedures including adrenal, genitourinary, carotid, mesenteric, pelvic, hepatic, pulmonary, renal, selective visceral, superior vena cavogram, and upper/lower extremity is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, TIPS, and vertebroplasty is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with vascular access and management, including ports, central venous lines, and PICC lines is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with drainage, biopsy, and other organ procedures such as catheter/drain exchange, chest tube placement, cholecystostomy, gastrostomy, internal/external biliary drainage, liver biopsy, nephrostomy, paracentesis, stone extraction, transhepatic cholangiogram, thoracentesis, and ureteral stent placement is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with IVC filter placement and removal is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with chemoembolization, radio embolization, and radiofrequency ablation of the liver is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound is required.
• Additional Confirmations Accurate monitoring skills are required.
• COVID Vaccine 1 booster required. Regular testing required. Medical and religious declinations are accepted.
• Flu Vaccine (Current Season) Must be for the current flu season. Medical and religious declinations are accepted. Willing to obtain allowed.
• Travel Contract Must travel at least 65.0 miles to receive a travel stipend. Local candidates are eligible, but the pay package may adjust the rate by a few dollars per hour, will not contain a travel stipend, and will be entirely taxable.
• Requested Time Off Up to 7 days of time off can be requested.
