Hiring for an Associate Business Development Representative for a healthcare facility in the West Palm, FL area. 

Location: West Palm Beach, FL | Field-Based Position | East Coast Florida Territory

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000/year (based on experience) 

Compensation : This position offers a competitive base salary plus an uncapped monthly incentive plan. The more you get out into your territory, build relationships, and bring in new patient referrals, the more you earn. 

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Field-Based Position | Daily travel throughout assigned territory

Vehicle: Company vehicle provided

Position Overview:

Seeking an Associate Business Development Representative to support referral growth and territory development throughout the East Coast Florida market. This role supports the Regional Sales Manager and Business Development team by maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, referral partners, and community contacts.

The Associate BDR will focus on supporting existing referral relationships, assisting with account management, and helping strengthen partnerships throughout the territory. This position is designed for a relationship-driven professional looking to grow within healthcare business development while gaining experience in territory management.

Unlike a traditional cold-calling sales role, this position focuses heavily on supporting and developing existing accounts, maintaining relationships, and helping ensure referral partners continue to receive strong communication and support.

Starting Process / Training:

• Candidate will initially report to the West Palm Beach office during onboarding, training, and initial ramp-up period.
• Once the candidate is fully trained and comfortable managing their territory, they will have the flexibility to begin their day directly in the field.
• Company vehicle provided for territory travel.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Regional Sales Manager with managing healthcare referral accounts and partnerships
• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, and referral sources
• Assist with ongoing communication and support for existing referral partners
• Conduct in-person visits with healthcare offices and community partners
• Support territory sales and marketing strategies
• Assist with referral growth initiatives throughout the East Coast Florida market
• Learn healthcare referral networks and business development processes
• Track customer interactions, account activity, and territory performance within company systems
• Represent company professionally within the community
• Participate in networking opportunities and relationship-building activities
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to support overall market growth

Job Requirements:

• 1+ year of territory sales experience preferred
• Sales experience will be reviewed based on the candidate’s background, type of sales environment, consultative approach, relationship-building abilities, and overall fit for the role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong relationship-building abilities
• Professional, organized, and self-motivated
• Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
• Ability to manage relationships and follow up consistently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Valid driver’s license required
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare, medical sales, business development, customer service, or relationship management experience preferred
• Experience supporting accounts, clients, or referral relationships preferred
• Consultative sales experience preferred
• Experience working with healthcare providers, physicians, or professional organizations preferred
• Familiarity with CRM systems preferred
• Knowledge of the East Coast Florida healthcare market preferred
• Spanish bilingual preferred
• Other sales backgrounds will be considered depending on the candidate’s experience, type of sales environment, relationship-building skills, and ability to manage professional partnerships

Work Environment:

• Territory includes West Palm Beach, Royal Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and surrounding areas
• Frequent interaction with healthcare providers and referral partners
• Company vehicle provided
• No overnight travel required
• Occasional networking events outside normal business hours may be required
• Once fully trained, candidate will have the ability to begin their day directly in the field

A successful Associate Business Development Representative will help maintain strong referral partnerships, support account growth, and assist the Business Development team in expanding the company’s presence throughout the East Coast Florida market while developing valuable healthcare business development experience.
