Litigation Associate - Toxic Tort Product Liability

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate for their St. Louis or Southern Illinois office, focusing on toxic tort and product liability cases, including asbestos matters. This position offers hybrid work options post‑onboarding. Candidates must hold a Missouri and/or Illinois law license. Responsibilities Manage cases from inception through discovery and trial preparation. Attend depositions, settlement conferences, and other hearings. Prepare motions, discovery responses, and client reports. Assist in trial preparation, including strategy, discovery, records review, client interviews, and witness preparation. Qualifications 3+ years of litigation experience in toxic tort, asbestos, pharmaceutical, medical device matters, or commercial litigation. Extensive experience with witness, party, and expert depositions preferred. Superior analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Mandatory Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Licensed to practice law in Missouri and/or Illinois. Skills Strong case management and strategic planning abilities.
