About the Role:

A well-established, multi-office law firm is seeking a Foreclosure Attorney to join its Westmont, New Jersey office. The firm represents mortgage lenders, banks and financial institutions in foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction and REO matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2 3 years of foreclosure litigation experience who is looking to take on meaningful responsibility, manage a substantial caseload and continue developing their legal career in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and prioritize a large caseload of foreclosure matters.
• Draft and review pleadings and legal documents.
• Ensure pleadings and filings comply with applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.
• Attend hearings, status conferences and other court proceedings.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel and internal team members.
• Analyze legal issues and provide practical solutions to mitigate client risk.
• Handle matters efficiently while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff to achieve case objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• 2 3 years of foreclosure litigation experience.
• Admission and good standing in both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bars.
• Previous experience with foreclosure, title, bankruptcy or mortgage banking is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of legal procedures and court requirements.
• Excellent legal research, writing and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a legal team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Creative problem-solving skills and sound legal judgment.
