From sustainably harvested North American hardwoods to time-honored joinery, we craft furniture with soul—and we invite our customers to be part of that story.We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to join our engineering team to focus on Contract/Commercial projects. Moser Contract projects include dining halls, student centers, & libraries at prestigious institutions; furniture solutions for premium restaurants and hospitality market; as well as corporate boardrooms and lobbies. This role combines project management and execution, technical sales support, and product design.Key Responsibilities:Manage all active (booked) projects from booking though installation and final paymentERP Data managementLine of communication (in both directions) between the Moser team and outside supply chain resources related to contract projectsClear understanding of vendor capabilities and best fit for projectsIntegration of new supply chain resources as neededShop and select appropriate shipping/freight for contract projects. Outline needs and communicate clearly so all parties understand timing, labor required, space requirements, etc.Installation management (remotely and sometimes on-site)Prep the installation team with clear directions for assembly of the product as required, on site requirements, floor plan locationsProduct Design solutions for contract customers that fit the capabilities of Thos Moser and/or our supply chain and meet the customer needsCAD (solid edge), Computer Rendering (Key Shot), Hand Sketching, clear Verbal and Written descriptions of solutionsNew Product design to be worked in partnership with Product Design Engineer and managed in parallel with annual product development activitiesTechnical product and process knowledge (Furniture Industry, Architecture, Building, Assembly/Installation)Costing/Pricing – in-house builds and vendor sourced product, closely working with project salesperson.Requirements:BS in Engineering, Industrial Design, or similar work experienceFurniture industry experienceStrong understanding of solid wood furniture construction techniquesCAD software (Solid Edge) - Rendering Software (Keyshot)Strong Microsoft Office Suite userERP/CRM Experience (Epicor / Hubspot)Willingness to travel for installations and vendor visits.Project Operations & Execution
