Pay & Benefits

• Pay:  $145/hr 1099; Weekends Sat and Sunday: $155/hr
  • Nightly On-call (5p-8a): $350 flat 
  • 24-Hr On-Call: $650 flat rate
  • Weekend 24-Hr On-Call: $750 rate
  • Holiday On-Call 24-Hr: $950 flat rate 
  • Call Back: $200/hr 
  • Holiday Pay: $200/hr

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct patient care, psychiatric assessments, and treatment in a residential setting
• Conduct face-to-face evaluations and respond to emergency calls and restraints as needed
• Manage care for dually diagnosed adult patients (mental health) in a residential section (not an outpatient clinic)
• Complete rounds and participate in morning report
• Maintain required clinical documentation (annuals, quarterly documentation)
• Participate in annual team meetings and additional team meetings as needed
• Follow facility and HHSC rules, regulations, policies, and attendance/leave requirements

What You Need

Required

• Licensed Physician (MD) with an  active Texas Medical License (Texas Medical Board) with  no sanctions
• Active DEA certification (U.S. Department of Justice)
• AHA- BLS (current and maintained)
• Ability to complete required  drug testing ,  fingerprinting , and  facility/HHSC training
• Must be credentialed with hospitals utilized by the facility

About the Assignment

You will provide full medical care for intellectually disabled long-term care adult patients on campus during weekday daytime hours, supporting a panel of approximately 25 adult patients across two homes. The role includes timely rounds, required documentation, and participation in interdisciplinary team meetings as needed.
