Resort Manager – Ruff Day Resort (Webster, NY)
About the Role: Ruff Day Resort is seeking a results-driven Manager to lead our Webster location. We are a safety-first organization dedicated to providing high-quality care for our clients and their pets. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, drive profitable sales, and lead a dedicated team in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Operations: Manage store marketing, budgets, and daily financial reporting (including deposits and inventory management). Collaborate with leadership to develop cost-effective displays and growth strategies.
Team Leadership: Lead hiring, onboarding, and training for staff. Manage weekly schedules, payroll, and performance incentives to maintain a motivated, high-performing team.
Customer Experience: Resolve customer needs with professionalism and grace. Ensure the facility remains a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment for all guests.
Event Coordination: Organize special resort functions and community events to drive engagement.
Qualifications:
Recent experience in Veterinary Care or Dog Training is required.
Proven track record in staff supervision, scheduling, and payroll management.
Strong financial literacy with experience maintaining budgets.
Ability to remain calm and professional in a high-energy environment.
Availability: Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
