Medical Device Account Manager - Filtration & Venting

Position Summary: The Medical Device Account Manager - Filtration & Venting role is ideal for an experienced sales professional that enjoys growing a business and strengthening customer relationships. This position will be responsible for growing sales by managing existing relationships, prospecting for new accounts and qualifying new leads in the medical device market. Previous market experience in the medical device market would be ideal for this role. Qualified candidates must be able to work on-site at our Bloomington, MN office/facility. Role Responsibilities: Act as primary contact for assigned accounts, traveling to customer locations to create and solidify relationships, determine specific customer needs, and learn application and business requirements. Plan and manage all sales responsibilities to optimize sales and profits consistent with business objectives. Establish annual strategic plan for major target accounts that aligns with the overall business unit strategy. Continually seek opportunities to promote new technical concepts, applications, and/or products and services. Sell new products and technologies as they become available, utilizing customized product solutions. Manage those same projects/product changes through the internal organization to meet objectives as defined by the customer. Formulate and implement long/short‑range sales, marketing, product, promotion and pricing strategies and plans for assigned customers to help achieve the MBU profit and growth objectives. Initiate, participate in, and direct presentations, negotiations, business proposals, product demonstrations, and other communications designed to drive sales. Develop and utilize sound technical understanding of company products, technologies, and capabilities to aid in the selling process and project management. Develop and maintain market share information and competitive data for assigned customers. Travel: Up to 20% Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of technical sales, most desirably in medical or medical device Preferred Qualifications: Successful prospecting or lead generation experience Consistent achievement of sales goals and forecasts. Strategic planning and tactical implementation skills. Previous CRM experience (MS Dynamics ideally) Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to use good public relations skills, including having a professional impact and being able to present to groups or individuals in a persuasive manner. Strong mechanical/technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies. Demonstrated ability to use accounting concepts to assess the implications of financial decisions/actions as they relate to business opportunities. Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance. Annual Salary Range: $93,800 - 122,000. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance. Based on work location, geographic adjustment is included. This position is eligible for a sales incentive or commission plan , based on sales targets under company policy.
