Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings via telehealth to evaluate patients’ mental health needs, utilizing standardized tools and tailored approaches to establish an effective treatment plan.

• Provide short-term individual counseling sessions and crisis intervention services, employing evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to address a wide range of mental health concerns.

• Facilitate virtual therapy groups and workshops focused on personal development, coping strategies, and mental wellness topics that resonate with our client population.

• Build collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, medical professionals, and community organizations, to ensure holistic patient care and seamless referrals.

• Engage in outreach initiatives and community-based mental health awareness campaigns, enhancing the visibility and accessibility of services provided by Vita Wellness and Counseling.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring all documentation supports quality patient care and accountability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. Our patient population comprises adults, adolescents, and families from different cultural backgrounds, each requiring tailored therapeutic approaches that respect their individual experiences and viewpoints.

Qualifications\n

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary of $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
