The Heavy Haul Transport Driver will be responsible for safely transporting machinery and equipment using 9 and 5 axle trailers. This role involves managing both local and long-distance interstate routes, requiring independent operation while maintaining regular communication with dispatch and logistics teams. Occasional overnight stays may be necessary to complete extended travel periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate 9 and 5 axle trailers to transport heavy machinery and equipment
• Secure loads to ensure safe transport and compliance with regulations
• Plan routes efficiently for local and long-distance interstate travel
• Adhere to all safety and legal compliance standards
• Perform vehicle inspections before, during, and after trips
• Maintain accurate log documentation of driving hours and cargo details
• Communicate regularly with customers, dispatch, and logistics teams
• Monitor cargo condition throughout transport to prevent damage
• Coordinate refueling and necessary stops along the route
• Couple and uncouple trailers as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in heavy haul transport driving
