Youth Camp Counselor

The Lake Bluff Park District is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Youth Camp Counselor is supervised by the Camp Services Manager. The candidate must be at least 16 years old and have prior camp experience. Duties include planning and implementing recreational activities, communicating with the site director, attending staff meetings, notifying camp leaders of supply needs, maintaining first aid supplies, using positive discipline techniques, completing accident/incident forms, staying with campers until they are released, recording attendance, cooperating with other staff, and ensuring a safe environment. Hours are from 8:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, from mid June to mid August.
