• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, with ongoing needs
• Shift: 24-hour call shifts (on-call OB/GYN)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,150 - $7,280 (competitive locum tenens pay)
• Patient Encounters Per Shift: 5-10
• Beds in Department: 15

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Arkansas (AR licensure required)
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS a plus for high-risk care
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology or equivalent locum OB/GYN experience
• Ability to supervise APP providers preferred (physician oversight of mid-level providers)
• Proficiency in both low- and high-risk pregnancy management and emergency deliveries
• Experience with fetal heart rate (FHR) interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) and OB ultrasounds (Level I required, Level II preferred)

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions)
• Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring and perform/interpret OB ultrasounds to support safe maternal-fetal outcomes
• Make critical decisions regarding C-sections and manage high-risk pregnancies and peripartum emergencies
• Perform office and minor gynecology procedures (IUD insertion/removal, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP preferred)
• Conduct surgical gynecology procedures including open and laparoscopic cases (surgical OB/GYN experience preferred)
• Repair 3rd- and 4th-degree lacerations (preferred) and manage postpartum complications
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team-nurses, anesthesiology, neonatology, and APPs-to ensure high-quality patient care
