No nights and no weekends. Historic downtown in a great location. Practice is centrally located close to Tampa and Orlando and home of Legoland. About the Position: We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished radiologist to join our team, specializing in cross-sectional imaging with a focus on musculoskeletal and body imaging. This is a full-time outpatient position, offering a balanced work-life schedule with no nights or weekend shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently interpreting X-ray, DEXA, CT, MRI, Mammogram, PET CT, and ultrasound studies, providing expert consultations to referring physicians, and contributing to the overall quality and efficiency of our imaging services. Responsibilities: Interpret and report on a wide range of cross-sectional imaging studies, including X-ray, DEXA, CT, MRI, Mammography, PET CT, and ultrasound. Provide expert consultations to referring physicians regarding imaging findings and treatment options. Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and case discussions. Contributes to the development and refinement of imaging protocols. Potentially perform or assist with interventional radiology procedures, such as image-guided biopsies and injections. Maintain accurate and timely records of patient imaging studies and reports. Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and imaging services. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Stay current with advancements in cross-sectional imaging techniques and technologies. Qualifications: Board-certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. Fellowship training in cross-sectional imaging, with a focus on musculoskeletal and body imaging. Proficiency in interpreting a wide range of cross-sectional imaging studies, including X-ray, DEXA, CT, MRI, Mammography, PET CT, and ultrasound studies. Experience in interventional radiology procedures (preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Current MQSA certification . Financial package will be discussed directly with interested and qualified candidates.
