As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, screen people and property, and support access control and other security-related procedures. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or personal belongings in accordance with post orders and facility protocols to help support controlled access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate channels.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping-related documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity or conditions and communicating concerns to site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
