Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Auto Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles to ensure maximum reliability, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose Issues: Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and computerized tools to accurately identify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Perform Repairs: Execute repairs efficiently, including fixing engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.
• Routine Maintenance: Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, and wheel alignments.
• Test Vehicles: Verify vehicle serviceability by test-driving cars and adjusting controls after repairs are complete.
• Shop Upkeep: Keep tools, equipment, and the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with all safety standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Vocational/trade school certification or an associate’s degree in Automotive Technology is a major plus.
• Experience: [e.g., 2-5] years of proven, hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Certifications: [e.g., ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications] preferred.
• Skills: Strong understanding of automotive systems, proficiency with standard shop tools, and solid computer literacy.
• Communication: Excellent verbal skills to clearly explain mechanical diagnoses and repair options to customers and service advisors.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for prolonged periods, work in physically demanding positions, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
