Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend required | On-call required | Floating may be required | Projected Start: November 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring clinical intervention
• Develop, implement, and evaluate a measurable, individualized plan of care within established nursing standards, modifying as needed based on patient outcomes
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical facts and patient evaluations
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures and document timely, appropriate interventions

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Current PALS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Current TNCC Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Knowledge and sensitivity to patients' rights in the delivery of care; ability to communicate clearly and appropriately to the developmental age of the patient

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current CPI / De-Escalation Certification highly preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Experience in an Emergency Department setting with diverse patient populations
