  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored to each student’s unique needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on emotional well-being and social integration within the educational environment.

  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and trauma.

  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, targeting personal growth, emotional regulation, and the development of effective coping mechanisms.

  • Collaborate actively with fellow professionals to provide a holistic approach to student care.
  • \n
  • Provide crisis intervention to support students during mental health emergencies.
  • \n
  • Educate students and their families on mental health conditions and available resources.
  • \n
  • Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • \n
  • Engage in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to continually enhance the quality of care.

  • Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and best practice guidelines that inform service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will directly impact students facing challenges related to various mental health disorders, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), emotional and behavioral issues, and trauma-related conditions. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique needs of special education students, enabling you to tailor interventions that foster resilience and academic achievement.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, signifying a robust foundation in therapeutic practices.

  • Current and valid LCSW license in the state of Arizona.
  • \n
