Summary: Under the direction of the Sous Chef on duty, responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the dish machine.
Responsibilities:
- Operates dish machine and compartment washing sink.
- Ensures highest sanitation levels for all items previously used so that they may be used again in clean condition and free of any contamination risk.
- Removes all trash and maintains loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition.
- Stocks all plates, glasses, pots, utensils, and pans after cleaning.
- Cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment.
- Must have working knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation.
- Maintains care and cleanliness of kitchen equipment, walk-ins, work areas, utensils, etc.
- Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
- May assist culinary staff when required.
- Assumes/performs other duties as assigned.
