Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Unit in New Orleans, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support access control, respond to incidents, and help create a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or other authorized individuals by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the property, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of persons entering and leaving the location.
Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
