This role will manage multiple projects through the full lifecycle – from planning and execution to deployment and support – while partnering closely with internal teams and vendors.Reporting to the Director of Project Management, this individual will play a key role in coordinating work across teams, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high standards for quality and communication.The Association for Talent Development (ATD) is the premier membership organization for professionals in the learning and talent development field. We support individuals and organizations in talent development, to perform at the highest level.What You'll DoLead the planning and implementation of assigned IT initiatives using established project management methodologiesManage operational system issues by coordinating with developers, supporting testing efforts, and facilitating deployment through established change management processesCommunicate regularly with internal stakeholders on project progress and ensure satisfaction with the quality and timeliness of deliverablesCoordinate activities across teams to ensure system updates and changes are executed effectivelyPartner with internal teams and external vendors to align tasks and ensure appropriate support structures are in place for project deploymentSupport tracking and coordination of issue management, contracts, budgets, cross-charges, and monthly reportingContribute to process implementation and continuous improvement effortsWhat We're Looking ForBA/BS in information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related field preferred3 – 5 years of experience in project management, preferably supporting technology initiativesExperience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing project tasks and timelinesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyEffective communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience supporting issue tracking, reporting, and operational processesAbility to adapt in a fast-paced environment and work under deadlinesExperience with project management tools and/or ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, etc.) preferredWhy Join UsOpportunity to work on impactful technology initiatives that support the organization's missionCollaborative team environment with strong cross-functional partnershipExposure to a wide range of systems, projects, and stakeholdersOpportunities for growth and development within project managementWork EnvironmentThis role is based in Alexandria, VA and follows a hybrid work model, offering a mix of in-office collaboration and flexibility.Our office is located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria on King Street – just steps from the Metro, waterfront, and a vibrant mix of shops and restaurants.
