Litigation Associate – Civil Litigation

An established Bay Area civil litigation defense firm is expanding its litigation practice and is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3–5+ years of civil litigation experience.

This is a growth position created to support increasing client demand. The successful candidate will work remotely while maintaining the ability to attend hearings, depositions, court appearances, and site inspections throughout the Bay Area.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage discovery
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Draft motions and legal memoranda
• Prepare cases for trial
• Present oral arguments
• Maintain regular communication with clients
• Attend hearings, court appearances, inspections, and other litigation proceedings

Qualifications

• California Bar admission
• 3–5+ years of civil litigation experience
• Experience with depositions and case management
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Trial experience is a plus
• Must reside within the San Francisco Bay Area

Compensation & Benefits

Salary

• $100,000–$200,000 depending on experience

Bonus Program

• $35/hour billed between 1,850.1–1,900 hours
• $50/hour billed between 1,900.1–2,000 hours
• $65/hour billed above 2,000 hours

Schedule

• Fully remote

Salary Range: $100,000–$200,000
