Travel Radiologic Technologist Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho. Job Details 13‑week travel assignment with competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team. Required Qualifications One year radiologic technologist experience. Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT Certification. Other certifications and licenses may be required. Summary The Radiologic Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high‑quality images that aid physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The role ensures patient safety, maintains equipment functionality, and collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver accurate diagnostic results. Essential Work Functions Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions. Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high‑quality diagnostic images according to physician orders. Maintain equipment and sterilize the room in which procedures take place. Evaluate image quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and the health‑care team. Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions. Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records. Follow hospital safety rules and procedures, including infection control and radiation safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills. Proficient reading, writing, and verbal communication in English. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills. Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal skill to work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain a positive, professional attitude. Technical/motor skill for fine manipulation and assistance with procedures or equipment. Mental ability to cope with frequent public interaction, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision or independently, and maintain concentration during irregular schedules.
