Qualifications:

• Valid Adapted Curriculum certification required
• Experience working with students in special education settings preferred
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational abilities to manage documentation and progress monitoring

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students in middle or elementary school based on adapted curriculum standards
• Develop and regularly update IEPs in collaboration with families, therapists, and other educators
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of learners
• Track student growth, adapt teaching methods, and ensure compliance with all state and federal education requirements
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to support student growth and well-being
