Asset Protection Specialist (mid-day shift) - Distribution Ctr

Asset Protection Specialist (Mon-Fri, 2-10 pm Shift) The Asset Protection Specialist has a thorough knowledge of KnitWell Group’s security and life safety procedures and is responsible for supporting the protection of our enterprise assets, which include associates, product, and property. Responsibilities Checks associate ID badges to control facility egress and logs visitors/contractors. Greet, engage and assist associates, vendors and visitors upon registration. Maintains thorough knowledge of and monitors facilities CCTV, fire/burglar, and access control systems. Answers and transfers internal/external phone calls as part of Front Desk procedures. Conducts daily outbound/inbound audits, safety/security checklists, and monthly audits and facility inspections in distribution center and/or office locations. Initiates internal/external investigations based on daily inspection findings and information received from other sources. Secures facility during non-operational hours. Provides after-hour security service/surveillance (walk and/or monitors associates to their automobile, etc.) to associates in times of need. Creates incident/injury reports and administers first aid when necessary. Builds productive business relationships and demonstrates an understanding of each function. Makes knowledgeable and informed decisions based on the department’s policies and procedures. Performs other duties or administrative functions as needed by Asset Protection Management. Qualifications At least 6 months experience in Asset Protection / Loss Prevention or security (preferred). High School diploma or equivalent. Must be flexible to work any shift, including weekends, and be on call 24/7, any day of the year. Self‑motivated and able to work with little or no supervision during shift. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. First Aid, CPR, AED certification preferred (will be required during employment). Basic Microsoft Office skills (Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship (no sponsorship will be provided).
