The role blends administrative and substantive work, so it suits someone who likes owning the details of a caseload and keeping files, deadlines, and filings on track. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day legal and administrative support for a personal injury and insurance caseload Draft, format, and proofread correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents Prepare and file court documents in accordance with deadlines and local rules Maintain the attorney's calendar, including hearings, depositions, and deadlines Organize and update case files and records Assist with discovery and deposition preparation Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court on routine matters Handle scheduling, billing entries, and other administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Prior experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, ideally in litigation Strong writing, proofreading, and organizational skills Familiarity with court filing procedures and calendaring Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal practice software Comfortable working independently and managing multiple deadlines Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
