Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN

Role Overview: A Nuclear Medicine technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures with accuracy, safety, and compassion. Key Responsibilities: Performing a wide range of technical procedures independently, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images. Preparing and positioning patients, verifying orders, and assessing contraindications. Administering radiopharmaceuticals safely, monitoring patient condition, and responding to emergencies. Maintaining equipment, troubleshooting malfunctions, and adhering to infection control policies. Providing patient education, addressing questions, and ensuring privacy and comfort. Documenting procedures accurately, participating in departmental training, and supporting quality control. Transporting patients, managing supplies, and supporting departmental operations. Qualifications & Skills: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology. Minimum of 1 year clinical experience; nuclear medicine experience preferred. Certifications: ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech, BLS or Instructor. Ability to operate NM equipment, demonstrate critical thinking, and follow safety protocols.
