Your Role on the Team

Position Summary: Must be able to decontaminate, clean, package, sterilize, store and distribute medical surgical instruments and supplies in accordance with CDC, OSHA, EPA, AAMI, Joint Commission guidelines as required.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a Sterile Processing program/degree.
• One year of central supply/instrument tech experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal direction.
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recent acute care experience.
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
