Qualifications:
- Active Georgia OT license and GaPSC Certification (both required)
- Experience supporting students with disabilities (strongly preferred)
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred
- Clearance documentation required
- Commitment to providing onsite services for the duration of the position
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to two students (5th/6th grade), 30 minutes per week/student
- Assess student needs relating to fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to ensure student success
- Recommend classroom strategies, accommodations, and modifications
- Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and meet all IEP requirements
- Communicate effectively within the school team
