Logistics coordinator

Looking for a high-energy logistics role with a leading regional distributor in Swedesboro? We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage daily freight scheduling, carrier communications, and transit tracking. This position is offered as a temp-to-hire opportunity, allowing you to jump right in, make an immediate operational impact, and transition into a permanent long-term career with a fast-growing local team.

salary: $25 - $31 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Dispatch daily outbound shipments and schedule inbound freight arrivals with regional transportation carriers.
• Negotiate spot rates with freight brokers and motor carriers to optimize shipping costs.
• Track active shipments in real-time, resolve transit delays, and issue claims for damaged freight.
• Audit carrier freight bills for accuracy against quoted rates before approving payments.
