Diesel Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Job Overview Mega Disposal has immediate opening for a Diesel Mechanic to join our GROWING team at our site in Seekonk, MA. Schedule Monday - Friday 4pm start time / 50 to 55 hours per week / Saturdays as needed. Pay Rate $25.00+ dependent on experience. Duties and Responsibilities Initiate or assign repairs by utilizing vehicle computer electronic systems to interpret failure modes. Complete required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times. Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment. Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns. Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of proven experience in the field. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Schedule flexibility to work 2nd shift Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays. Ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignments. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Welding/fabrication experience.
