Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position in a Progressive Care Unit, requiring ACLS certification and experience with cardiac patients and titrating drips on night shifts.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Intermediate Care (IMC) setting within a hospital
• Patient population includes cardiac patients, open heart surgery recovery, TAVR, Watchman, and post-cardiac procedure patients
• IMC pod consists of 8 patients with conditions including new BiPAP, DKA, CIWA, and patients requiring titrating drips
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Every third weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active IL RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Experience with cardiac patient populations required
• Experience managing titrating drips required
