Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Lafayette, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and security-related activity, and remain visible to help deter incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.51 / Hour DayTimeTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns. Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry in accordance with site requirements; assist with directing authorized personnel to appropriate locations. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and shift logs. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
