Shift: Evenings | 3×12-Hour Shifts

Pay Rate:

Local: $48/hr on W2
Travel: $1,900/Weekly

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Lakewood, CO. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality pre-operative and post-anesthesia care, ensure safe patient recovery while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients before and after procedures.
Monitor patients during the immediate post-anesthesia recovery phase, recognizing and responding to changes in condition.
Perform comprehensive pre-op assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
Manage pain, airway, and hemodynamic stability during the recovery process.
Provide patient and family education regarding pre-operative preparation and post-operative recovery.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
Float within competency as needed and participate in weekday and weekend on-call coverage.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (Single State or Compact).
Must have experience in both Pre-Op and PACU.
BLS (AHA) - Required.
ACLS (AHA) - Required.
PALS (AHA) - Required.
