Surgery - General Physician

We are seeking an experienced Board-Certified General Surgeon to join an employed surgical practice in a welcoming South Alabama community, offering a broad bread-and-butter surgery scope, strong community need, and an excellent quality of life just 90 minutes from the beach.
Position Highlights:

• Full-time, hospital-employed General Surgery opportunity
• Ideal role for an experienced surgeon seeking a community-based practice

• Perform a broad range of bread-and-butter general surgery procedures
• Scopes required
• No robotics
• Dedicated clinic and OR block time
• Approximately 10 days of call per month
• Only one weekend of call per month
• Serve a growing regional area of 60,000+ residents
• Practice within an 85+bed community hospital offering comprehensive medical services

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified in General Surgery
• Experienced surgeon required
• Proficiency in general surgery procedures and endoscopy/scopes required
• Comfortable practicing in a smaller community setting
• Eligible for medical licensure in Alabama
