Job Summary

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity in San Juan, PR within the healthcare services industry. Key Responsibilities

- Support pharmacy-related service functions while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Review, process, and document pharmacy information using internal systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, pharmacies, and internal teams in both Spanish and English.
- Assist with resolving pharmacy inquiries, prescription-related issues, and service requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized records and follow established procedures to support quality and operational efficiency.
- Participate in training and ongoing coaching to meet productivity, accuracy, and service expectations.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: San Juan, PR.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week during standard business operating hours.
- Business operating hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 10:00pm AST, and Saturday, 9:00am to 7:00pm AST.
- Overtime: Occasional overtime on weekends and holidays may be required based on business needs.
- Work model: 8 weeks of onsite training, then remote.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support pharmacy operations and pharmacy service requests.
- Process and document pharmacy-related information accurately.
- Communicate with patients, providers, pharmacies, and internal teams.
- Use computer systems and MS Office tools to complete daily work.

- Valid, unrestricted Puerto Rico Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board credential required.
- 1 to 2 years of pharmacy technician or related healthcare experience preferred based on role level.
- Bilingual Spanish and English proficiency required.
- Proficiency in MS Office with strong overall computer skills.
- Ability to work a 40-hour schedule within the listed business operating hours.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow healthcare procedures.
- Professional communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
- Ability to complete onsite training and transition successfully to a remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in a healthcare services, pharmacy operations, call center, or managed care environment.
- Experience handling pharmacy documentation, prescription inquiries, or patient support requests.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting after training while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
