Insurance Coverage Attorney

In this role, the attorney will represent insurance companies in coverage disputes and advise insurance companies in a variety of coverage matters. Responsibilities Represent insurance companies in coverage disputes and advise on a variety of coverage matters. Analyze coverage issues; draft coverage opinions, pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery requests and responses. Take and defend depositions, attend court conferences, and argue motions. Draft settlement agreements; handle arbitrations and appeals as needed. Conduct discovery and manage all phases of the litigation process. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of law firm insurance coverage and litigation experience. Must be licensed in Washington. Superior research, writing, and communication skills. Experience analyzing insurance policies and other relevant contracts. Ability to handle all phases of the litigation process, including drafting motions, pleadings, initial disclosures, discovery demands, discovery responses, and other court documents. Experience drafting settlement agreements, taking depositions, handling conferences, and handling appeals. Arbitration and/or trial experience is beneficial.
